Probate Law Day is the second Wednesday of each month.  Individual law days are subject to rescheduling.  Law Days that fall on holidays will either be cancelled or rescheduled.

The Probate Division has jurisdiction over the estates of deceased persons and incapacitated and disabled minors and adults.  The Division hears all litigation involving living trusts, as well as those trust established in last wills.  Disputes involving transfers to minors, personal custodianships and durable powers of attorney are also heard in the Division.  The Probate Division also considers petitions for 96-hour mental health commitments.

 An attorney is required to file all probate proceedings, except refusals for a creditor, spouse or an unmarried minor child(ren).  The Probate Division Party Information Sheet and court costs are required at time of filing.
