The Macon County Road and Bridge Department maintains approx. 900 miles of roads in the county along with hundreds of bridges. These are all the roads in the unincorporated areas of Macon County that are not in the Hudson Special Road District or the LaPlata Special Road District. The Macon County Road and Bridge Department is overseen by the Macon County Commission.
Hudson Special Road District
Macon County is also served by the Hudson Special Road District. Hudson Special Road District covers a 41 mile area surrounding the City of Macon. LaPlata Special Road District
